How To Guide: A Farmhouse Christmas Table Setting

It's our favorite time of the year and we've created a table setting perfect for your Christmas Dinner with Family and Friends! It's time to trim the tree, set out the stockings, heat up the hot cocoa and cuddle up with our loved ones with a soft blanket. We love how the Holidays seem to bring everyone together. One of our favorite holiday traditions is our dinner with Family every Christmas Eve. We love to sit down and have a warm meal all together before we sing Christmas Carols and brave the cold to drive around the town and see all of the twinkling lights people have put up! We have pulled together some of our favorite Christmas Table Settings complete with fresh greenery, beautiful dinnerware and subtle holiday touches that bring that same cheerful spirit to the dinner table.

How To Create a Christmas Table Setting

1. Start by grounding your space and adding pattern to your table with a decorative runner. We love this black and white gingham pattern as a jumping off point.

2. Add greenery and life to your space with some branches that drapes across the table runner. To create a special holiday look you can use greenery such as Evergreen, Spruce or Olive Branches.

3. Create individual eating spaces with a placemat and layer multiple dinner plates with various textures and patterns. We love how these dark plates look against this light natural placemat. Add a patterned salad plate and soup bowl on top for a layered look.

4. Add a soft stripe linen napkin and tie together with a small holiday leaf tied with a velvet ribbon or yarn.

5. Flatware can add subtle charm. We love these modern black and gold utensils you can find here. They also come in white and gold and both are to die!

6. Think about what serving bowls or plates you use to display your food and drinks. These black wired baskets are perfect for holding rolls while a wood paddle can make a great cheese board. We love this ceramic pitcher that adds a natural element.

7. Add the final touches like these simple black place card holders and these cute ceramic house tea lights that add a Holiday element to your table scape.
